Carbon fibre nylon for FPV and drone hardware
Nylon-CF is our stiffest material and the one most drone builders end up asking for. It is light, rigid, holds up to heat from motors and ESCs (about 155 °C), and has the matte carbon look that suits a build. For GPS and antenna masts, camera mounts and cages, arm braces, canopies, battery trays, gimbal and payload brackets, and frames for small and long-range builds, it is the best printed option there is.
To be straight about it: for a 5-inch freestyle or racing frame, CNC-cut carbon fibre plate is still stiffer and survives hard crashes better, and that is what we would point you to. A printed Nylon-CF part earns its place where shape matters more than flat plate allows, where you are prototyping, or where a custom part simply does not exist to buy.
Parts that take the hits, such as prop guards, bumpers and duct rings on cinewhoops, are better in TPU or plain nylon PA12, which bend and recover. Fibre-filled materials are stiff and will crack instead.

Which materials do you use for drone parts?
We stock nearly the full range of FDM materials, rigid, flexible and engineering-grade. Tell us the part and how it fails (impact, heat, vibration) and we'll match the filament to it.
Can you 3D print a drone frame in carbon fibre?
Yes, in carbon fibre nylon (Nylon-CF), which is the stiffest material we print. It suits small and long-range frames, prototypes and frames with shapes plate cannot make. For a 5-inch freestyle or racing frame, CNC-cut carbon plate is still stiffer and more crash-proof, and we will tell you so.
Can you print a part from a file I found online?
Yes, send the STL and we'll print it to order. We can also adjust it if you need a different size or stronger settings.
Do you print one-off replacement parts?
Yes, single replacement parts are welcome, no bulk minimum.
