Custom NFC Keychains in India
An NFC keychain does one thing well: someone taps their phone on it and your link opens. No app to install, nothing to type, no QR code to line up in the camera. We build them to order in India, with a rewritable tag set into a 3D printed body we print in your colours and your logo. These are quoted per job rather than sold off the shelf, because the tag contents, the artwork and the quantity change what the piece costs.
What the tag actually is
Inside each keychain sits an NTAG215 sticker, the same chip used in most consumer NFC products. It carries enough memory for a web link or a full digital visiting card, and it needs no battery, so the keychain keeps working for years.
It is rewritable. You can change where it points later using a free NFC app on a phone, which matters if a campaign URL changes or you move your booking page. If you would rather it never change, say so at the quote stage and we lock it before dispatch.
Most phones sold in the last few years read a tag just by touching it to the back of the handset. Some older models want an NFC reader app open first, so for a public-facing use like a cafe table it is worth a quick test with a couple of phones.
What people put on them
The common ones are an Instagram or LinkedIn profile, a Google review page, a digital visiting card that saves straight into contacts, a restaurant menu, a booking form, a portfolio, and a UPI or payment link.
Usually you give us the link you already have and we write it to the tags. If you do not have a page yet, tell us what the tap should do and we will work out the simplest route with you when we quote, including building a small page for it if that is genuinely what the job needs.
One link, or a different link on every piece
For a cafe or a shop the whole batch normally points at the same place, your review page or your menu. That is the simple case.
For conferences and team merchandise it is often the opposite: every keychain carries its own link, so each person hands over their own profile or contact card. We can write a unique destination to each piece and match it to a name list. Send the list with your order and tell us which link belongs to whom.
Where they get used
Events and conferences, where they replace a paper visiting card and survive the journey home in a pocket. Cafes, salons and clinics collecting Google reviews at the counter. Creators and artists linking a profile or a shop from a piece of merchandise.
Corporate gifting and onboarding kits, where the keychain carries the company page or an internal resource. College fests and societies, where each committee member taps out their own contact. None of these need a large order to be worth doing.
Design, colours and materials
The body is printed to your shape and colour, with a logo or name raised or recessed into the surface. Two-colour bodies are straightforward, so a logo can sit in a contrasting shade rather than being a flat engraving.
We stock almost the full range of FDM materials, so the choice depends on what the keychain has to survive. A conference giveaway and a keyring that lives on a workshop belt are not the same brief, and we will suggest the material rather than defaulting to whatever is loaded.
If your artwork is not print ready, we can prepare it. Design work is charged separately and quoted up front, so you see that cost before committing.
How ordering works
Send us three things: how many you need, what the tag should open, and your logo or design idea. If every piece needs its own link, include the list.
We come back with a quote covering the tags, the printing and any design work. Once the design and the link behaviour are approved, manufacturing takes a couple of days, then it ships pan-India on a tracked courier.
There is no minimum order. One piece to try the idea is fine, and so is a few hundred for an event.

Do I need an app to use it?+
Not on a reasonably recent phone. Tapping the keychain to the back of the handset opens the link by itself. Some older models need an NFC reader app open first, which is worth checking if the keychain will be used by the public rather than by you.
Can every keychain have a different link?+
Yes. We can write a unique destination to each piece and match it to a name list, which is the usual choice for conferences and team merchandise. A single shared link across the batch is equally fine and is what most shops and cafes want.
Can I change where it points later?+
Yes. The NTAG215 tag is rewritable, so you can update the link yourself with a free NFC app. If you would prefer it fixed permanently, tell us at the quote stage and we lock the tag before dispatch.
Is there a minimum order?+
No. We will make a single piece, and we will make a few hundred for an event.
What if I do not have a link or page yet?+
Tell us what the tap should do and we will sort out the simplest option with you while quoting, including building a small page for it if the job actually needs one.
How long does an order take?+
Manufacturing takes a couple of days once the design and the link behaviour are approved. Delivery time on top depends on your pincode, and everything ships tracked.
